Book tickets: Summer Beer Thing at The Pilcrow

The coolest place to enjoy a pint in the sun this year is The Pilcrow’s Summer Beer Thing (Fri 30 Jun – Sun 2 Jul), a brand new weekend-long celebration of the best beers in the North. For the finale of Manchester Beer Week, NOMA’s Sadler’s Yard will be awash with craft beer. Choose from 70 beers at any one time, with 200 beers on offer throughout the whole weekend. The many labels will be grouped together by style categories – pale ales, IPAs, fruit beers, sour beers and more – along with recommendations of the best summer pairings to please your palate. There’ll be DJs too, alongside food, talks and workshops as The Pilcrow salutes the North’s busy brewery scene. After all that hot fun, you can cool down inside the The Pilcrow itself, which will be serving until 1am. Tickets for Summer Beer Thing are on sale from 2pm on Friday 28 April.
