The team behind Crazy Pedro’s and Liars’ Club cocktail bar have reopened their New Orleans-inspired bourbon and blues bar, Bunny Jackson’s, on First Street. The pedestrianised plaza, home to Home arts centre, Indian Tiffin Room, Launderette (and many more) has come into its own in 2017 and looks set to offer a major alternative to the car-free delights of Spinningfields this festive season. In line with the group’s other bars, expect great music and the best bourbon and rye in town from Bunny’s. Previously located in the Great Northern Warehouse’s B.Eat Street complex, Bunny’s menu includes French dips, po-boys, popcorn shrimps, and grilled cheese on sourdough while, after 9pm, there are FREE hotdogs available at the bar.

Now open: Bunny Jackson’s, First Street, Manchester, @bunnyjacksons
