Sofie Hagen | The Lowry | Wed 22 Nov | 8pm | £12/10
The follow up to her two critically acclaimed and award winning shows ‘Bubblewrap’ and ‘Shimmer Shatter’, this new hour ‘Dead Baby Frog’ covers Hagen’s time living with an emotionally abusive grandfather in the wilds of her native Denmark. This will be her biggest tour to date and is arguably her most personal show in an already flourishing career spent beautifully and hilariously oversharing her life’s story. Hagen’s performances can sometimes serve as a form of therapy for both herself and the audience, you’ll definitely learn something about her and you might learn something about yourself.

Daniel Sloss | The Lowry | Sat 25 Nov | 8pm | £12/10
Daniel Sloss rounds out a Lowry hat trick of comedy picks with his new show ‘NOW’. After giving a Tedx talk at the age of 19 Sloss’ career trajectory has not dipped, performing at comedy festivals around the world, a record 7 appearances on ‘Conan’ in the US and has had nine sell out Edinburgh Fringe shows. With a caustic wit and his finger very much on the zeitgeist’s pulse at still only 27 years old Sloss is one to watch for the future and the now.
