Free: LGBT, queer love & consent workshops at Partisan Manchester

LGBT Foundation are hosting a day packed full of workshops, talks, discussions and safe spaces at Partisan Collective, all focused on sexual liberation and open to everyone. Fed up with hearing slut-shaming ‘think-pieces’ about queer sex? You can take in part an ‘intimate touch workshop’, as well as a chance to put your own sex affirmative slogan on T-shirts, tote bags and underwear – the perfect Christmas gift and conversation starter? The Conscious Touch and Embodiment Consent workshop is presented by Beck Thom, who will take you through a Quintimacy (Queer Intimacy) taster workshop, all about feeling the Yes or the No in your own body, exploring non-sexual connection and intimacy all in our ‘Embodied Consent’. There will also be an open-mic and photography exhibition in the Partisan basement. The event is free to attend, and there will be chances to make a much-needed donation at various points throughout the day.
