Free Jazz at Band on the Wall
This Tuesday, venue Band on the Wall hosts another of its free jazz sessions, bringing some of the region’s best up-and-coming blues, funk and electro swing artists to its hallowed stage. For this instalment, they’ve invited jazz guitar trio Flightless Birds, wild Leeds-based quartet Skwid Ink, singer Lucy Mae and seven-piece instrumental band Têtes de Pois. At the time of writing, this gig is listed as Sold Out, but it’s well worth checking for drop outs on the day.
Tue 12 Feb, Band on the Wall, 25 Swan Street, Manchester, M4 5JZ, 7.30pm – 11pm, www.eventbrite.co.uk
