Though we’re not ones to condone any kind of scuffle, we might make an exception for the Margarita Rumble that’s due to go down on Sunday 5 May with all the tequila based tipples you can imbibe. The event, sponsored by Jose Cuervo, pits the best of Manchester’s bartenders against each other to make the UK’s finest tequila cocktails using all their mixological prowess. Mixers and shakers from the likes of Common, The Refinery, Albatross & Arnold and El Taquero will be on hand to provide the bottomless margaritas and more that you can sup on whilst you dance away to the DJs, gawp at the day of the dead skeletons and cocktail masterclass, plus some other surprises throughout the day.
