Festive favourite Bar Hütte returns to the Great Northern this November

The city’s favourite alpine pop-up is gearing up to bring another round of festive magic back to Great Northern Square, as Bar Hütte celebrates ten years of après-ski fun.

Once again transforming the Deansgate plaza into a twinkling mountain resort, Bar Hütte stages another winter wonderland packed with cosy karaoke cabins, a heated party lodge and live music throughout the colder months.

Inspired by Europe’s best ski destinations, the pop-up offers ultimate festive escapism, from winter cocktails and steaming pizzas to private karaoke and Christmas party packages. Four-legged family members can also join the fun with the return of Bark Hütte, a pup-sized hütte with complimentary treats and festive photo ops just for dogs.

Alongside karaoke, the pop-up’s popular wreath-making workshops will return. Priced at £55 per person, including a glass of fizz or mulled wine, classes will be running on Sun 29 Nov (2pm-4pm) and Tue 1 Dec (6.30pm).

Perfect for families, Bae Huttë’s Santa Claus Club is back, too. Enjoy an hour of karaoke with a free hot chocolate per child (up to six children) and colouring pads for the kids. Plus, there’ll be an opportunity to grab a selfie with Father Christmas himself on Sun 13 Dec and Sun 20 Dec from 10am-1pm.

Booking is strongly advised, but walk-ins are also welcome. There will also be plenty of outdoor seating available under a heated stretched tent, giving Christmas partygoers the chance to get merry without getting cold.
