Broadcasting favourite and best selling author Fearne Cotton has unveiled details for her inaugural Happy Place Festival, visiting Cheshire’s stunning Tatton Park this summer. Aiming to “help clear the mind, bring simple joy and help unlock that inner happiness”, the festival brings a host of huge names across a variety of fields spanning activism, broadcasting, comedy, journalism and literature. Festival curator Fearne Cotton has hand-picked a selection of expert speakers, including broadcaster, activist and comedian Russell Brand, author and columnist Bryony Gordon, chef, food and health writer Jasmine Hemsley, gold medal-winning Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes, philanthropist and presenter Katie Piper, presenter and author Rylan Clark-Neal, feminist, activist and writer Sophie Walker, double amputee British racing driver Billy Monger, personal trainer and blogger Alice Liveing, along with a host of others. Attendees can look forward to yoga, pilates and barre classes, as well as meditation and mindfulness sessions, workouts with health and fitness fanatic Joe Wicks and creative workshops from online marketplace notonthehighstreet. The family-friendly event also offers hands-on craft workshops, storytelling sessions, face painting and more, with children’s tickets for kids aged 5-16 years, and free entry for under 5s. With just two outings in London and Cheshire, ticket’s are expected to sell quick.
