This Winter, Heaton Park is hosting Lightopia: a one of a kind lantern and light festival that promises to be an immersive experience for all ages. Running from Thu Nov 21 to Tue Dec 31, the festival offers interactive lights, dramatic lasers and water screen shows. Being the first of its kind in the UK and Europe, Lightopia is set to be a magical experience, where you and the family can step into a world of light and art. Come and have a look for yourself and see stunning art installations and enjoy this alternative festival of family fun and excitement. Make sure you book in advance though, as the event is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, except for school holidays, and will not be open Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
