Would you dare enter the museum after dark? Of course you would, because it’s Halloween! This October, Salford Museum and Art Gallery will be hosting a screening of family-friendly kids’ classic Hotel Transylvania. Revisit the hotel of legendary monsters and laugh out loud at Dracula’s awful jokes. The kids will love it and so will the adults – secretly, of course. Hotel Transylvania will be screened at Salford Museum & Art Gallery on Sat 19 Oct. Tickets are priced at £8 for adults and £6 for children, with family tickets (2 adults and 2 children) priced at £25.

Cockfields Pumpkin Festival 2019 | Sat 19 - Thu 31 Oct | 10am - 4pm | From £3

Have you ever wanted to start a family tradition that your kids can look back on with nothing but happiness? Take your little ones to Cockfields Pumpkin Festival this Halloween where they can pick out the perfect pumpkin, carve something terrifying and even cuddle up to some of the on-site animals. The best part? You won’t even have to clean up any of the mess. The Pumpkin Festival takes place on Cockfields Farm between Sat 19 Oct until Thu 31 Oct. No booking is needed, you just need to drop by between 10am and 4pm.

This free event will definitely bring a smile to your face of your little one. A whole load of different episodes of kids TV shows will be screened inside a spooky Halloween tent, so if your child is a fan of Peter Rabbit, The Worst Witch, Hey Duggee and Dennis and Gnasher Unleashed – this is the Halloween event for them. These spooky screenings will take place on Sat 26 Oct and Sun 27 Oct in Exchange Square and the best bit is, it’s completely free!
