Chali 2NA and Krafty Kuts hit Band on the Wall this November, playing tracks from their collaborative debut, Adventures of a Reluctant Super Hero, which dropped in August on Manphibian Records. Since their first single, Guard The Fort, launched at the BBC 6 Music Festival in March, the unmistakeable voice of Chali 2NA (of Jurassic 5 fame) and Krafty Kuts’ turntable dynamism have seen the pair go from strength to strength, releasing further acclaimed singles Distance and Waste No Time in the run-up to their first full length record. Featuring guest vocals from a range of hip-hop stars—including Harry Shotta, Skye (Morcheeba), Omar, and Dynamite MC—Adventures of a Reluctant Super Hero is a bold, courageous effort incorporating funk basslines, breaks and grooves, ready to be brought to life at their Band on the Wall show. Support comes from local hip-hop star Berry Blacc, whose debut record, From Maia, dropped in 2018.
