The Funk & Soul Show returns to Band on the Wall this month, promising a special night as ever with the DJ, actor, BBC 6music presenter and all-round purveyor of funk, Mr. Craig Charles. Charles is joined this time by Young Pilgrims, a sensational 9-piece brass band known for their live performances with their jazz-rock fusion. The group released their debut record, Little Things, on Birmingham’s Stone Lane label in 2016, a record that managed to capture the infectious nature of their energetic live sets. With a follow-up in the works, this is a great opportunity to get down to their brass and percussion madness, with the one-and-only Craig Charles behind the decks all night long.
