Alanis Morissette has announced a Manchester date for her European tour this Autumn, rocking up at Manchester Arena on Sunday 4 October. Supporting her upcoming record, Such Pretty Forks in the Road, which drops in May, Morissette will also be celebrating the 25 year anniversary of Jagged Little Pill, her 1995 album that kick started her career with classic pop-rock singles such as Ironic and Hands In My Pocket. With her unmistakable voice and rock-tinged sound, the Canadian singer went on to become one of the biggest acts in the world, selling more than 75 million albums worldwide and garnering countless honours, including 7 Grammy Awards. Tickets go on sale at 9am Friday 28 February for the Manchester Arena show, which promises to be both a celebration of her classic repertoire and more recent work. Morissette has just released her new single, Smiling, taken from the upcoming record. Listen below…
