Indie songstress Ellie Goulding recently released her fourth studio album Brightest Blue on 17 July after the original date was delayed due to COVID-19. The anticipated record was three years in the making, with the singles Worry About Me, Power and Slow Grenade preceding it. The two-sided album features guest vocals from Blackbear, Diplo, the late Juice Wrld, Lauv, serpentwithfeet and Swae Lee. Fans have waiting five years since Goulding’s last album Delirium dropped and are eager to see this new material in action. Spring 2021 sees Ellie take Brightest Blue out on tour around the UK and Ireland. Running from late April and into May, the tour kicks off in Manchester at the city’s O2 Apollo on Wednesday 28 April. Over the eight-date tour, the Starry Eyed singer plans each night to be a celebration of the new record, plus some of her classic tracks from over the last 11 years – sure to keep fans old and new happy. Tickets are already on sale and start at £30.50. Head to Ticketmaster to grab yours before its too late.

If Spring 2021 seems forever away – Ellie Goulding has something special planned in the not so distant future. Next month, on Wednesday 26 August, a virtual event – The Brightest Blue Experience – will be streaming for audiences to view online. The exclusive one-off pay-per-view performance from London’s Victoria and Albert Museum will feature the singer accompanied by an ensemble of musicians, plus a very special guest. The event starts from 8:30pm (BST) and a virtual ticket is required to gain access. Prices start from £13.50, head here to find out more and check out the album bundles/VIP packages available.
