A selection of Manchester yoga studios are coming together to offer donation-only yoga classes in celebration of the life and work of yoga teacher Dana Baniel. On Sunday 4 October, studios such as Yoga Soul in the Northern Quarter, Deansgate’s The Life Centre, One Yoga in Chorlton and Ancoats’ Hero Training Club will be hosting a selection of bookable yoga classes (suitable for all experience levels) both in their studio and, in some cases, via livestream, allowing people to follow along at home.
Baniel, who sadly passed away after a short illness in September 2020, was a much loved yoga teacher and member of the Manchester community. She leaves behind three children and this Day For Dana was set up by her friends and colleagues as a way to raise funds for her family and celebrate her body of work within the yoga community. Classes will take part on a variety of time-slots throughout the day and can be secured by making a small donation. To peruse studio details, class times and to make a booking, simply head to Eventbrite or follow the booking button below.
