The Spirit of Manchester Distillery will soon be re-opening its doors to gin enthusiasts across the country with the return of its deliciously exciting Gin School, with bookings starting from Thursday 20 May and continuing throughout the summer.
Recently voted Gin Magazine’s Visitor Attraction of the year and the Number One Thing to Do in Manchester on TripAdvisor, the Spirit of Manchester Distillery is currently taking bookings for a variety of immersive packages for when it reopens, just in time for the May Bank Holiday weekend. With Gin School back in session every week from Thursday to Sunday, customers are invited to sample Manchester Gin’s award-winning range of spirits whilst putting their taste buds to the test on a 45–60-minute Guided Gin Tasting and Distillery Tour – available from just £20 per person.
For a more inclusive experience, the Gin School also offers a Gin Making Experience from £85 per person. In this three-hour session, attendees get all the perks from the guided distillery tour whilst also having the chance to bottle up their own uniquely flavoured botanical creation. Meanwhile for £125, customers can bottle up a post-lockdown experience to remember with the Gin Making for Two package which includes the best of everything the venue has to offer.
Throughout lockdown the distillery offered up virtual tastings for fellow online gin-lovers and in doing so they broke a World Record for the World’s Biggest Virtual Gin Tasting. As well supporting and inspiring people’s pallets throughout the pandemic, the distillery has also extensively supported the NHS by using its venue to produce essential hand sanitiser to support front-line workers. All reservations can be made now through the Manchester Gin website.
