Following the success off its one-day event last May, Levenshulme Beer Festival returns to the Klondyke Club for its second year tonight – this time continuing for the whole weekend. With a selection of over 50 beers and 15 ciders on offer, all affectionately selected by Manchester’s favourite bars and clubs, the festival have tripled the number of beers from last year’s festivities, with options from the likes of Wild Beer Co, Kernel, Arbor, Marble and Summer Wine, all served by Juke Joint Bar. Launching tonight with an opening party, the festival will continue on Saturday and Sunday with the addition of a craft and vintage fair, refreshments from Café Bakery and Dirty Dogs – plus beer-brewing workshops available across both days. With entry only £2 – proceeds going directly to help maintain the Klondyke Club (pictured) – and enough beer to get you through the whole weekend, be sure to get down early and make the most of local breweries’ finest selections.
