Swingers, the immersive crazy golf experience that has proved such a massive hit in the capital since starting life as a pop-up venture back in 2014, has revealed some seriously exciting expansion plans for the coming months.
On our shores, Swingers West End has undergone an impressive 8,000 sq ft extension that’ll be open to the public from Fri 20 May. The fit-out includes a new crazy golf course, bar, street food showcase from Patty&Bun and their fried chicken project Jeffries, along with a 2,500sq ft all-weather roof terrace.
Over in the States, Swingers NoMad is set to open in the heart of Manhattan on Fri 17 Jun, transporting New Yorkers to a bucolic 1920s country golf club featuring weird and wonderful crazy golf courses set around an imposing clubhouse.
The new £9.5m development sits across 23,000sq ft and comes complete with three nine-hole courses, four local gourmet street food brands—Sauce Pizzeria, Miznon, Fonda and Mah Ze Dahr Bakery—six cocktail bars and a selection of private rooms for hire.
Looking further ahead, 2023 will see the opening of three new locations, including Swingers’ second venue in Washington D.C., swingers Navy Yard, followed by five new locations in both 2024 and 2025.
“Swingers will offer New Yorkers a completely unique and immersive experience that is unlike anything they’ve ever seen before,” said CEO and co-founder Matt Grech-Smith.
“Following the success of our first U.S. location in D.C., we’re excited to bring Swingers to New York City, a city known for its prominent hospitality industry and eclectic nightlife. Beyond that, we’ve been incredibly busy behind the scenes over the last few years and we are happy to be able to talk about some of our expansion plans as we react to burgeoning demand and grow our business in the U.S. and the U.K.”
Stay up to date with all the latest developments over on the Swingers website.
