Brennan Reece headlines a charity night on the locks, Peter Fleming celebrates 100 years of the beeb and Ryan Cullen will be preaching to more hot people at The Fitzgerald.
Hotly tipped as a cross between Frankie Boyle and Milton Jones, Irish one line merchant Ryan Cullen headlines another terrific night of Comedy For Hot People. Also on the bill is Jamie D’Souza, another rising star on the comedy circuit who’s mix of killer one liners and embarrassing confessional stories have earned him quite the reputation as a name to watch, once more proving CFHP’s eye for emerging talent.
Manchester’s favourite new comedy night Laughienda are taking on an extra evening of stand-up for charity as Brennan Reece (Live at The Apollo, Have A Word) headlines this show for Forever Manchester at Whitworth Locke. The boys at Laughienda have rounded up some of their favourite performers from the city as support including Karl Porter, Molly McGuinness and Faizan.

Nicely coinciding with the centenary of the creation of the Beeb, Peter Fleming’s Woefully Inaccurate History of the BBC comes to XS Malarkey as part of a short UK tour. Another great show as XS continues its promise to bring some of the best shows from the Fringe to the city that might not be doing an official ‘tour’. Tom Burgess’ colourful, yet decidedly grey, creation is all sorts of joy and despair as he laments the good old days of the British Broadcasting Company and fears for its future. Go see it, if only for the slanderous Blue Peter section.
