Some great, cheap mixed bills to whet your appetite this featuring some of the country’s best rising stars including Cerys Bradley at Blizzard, Harry Stachini at Killer Comedy Club and a trio of new voices at Fierce Bar.
Fierce Bar is developing quite the reputation as the go-to place for new comedy in the city. They welcomed heaps of shows for last month’s excellent Women In Comedy Festival, have a weekly show Monday Night club that regularly sells out and are inviting new voices to put on their own shows. More of the latter this Thursday as three Brit(ish) comedians take the stage in Pakistan-born, Manchester-based Faizan, Nigerian/Londoner Sam Ayinde and Romanian-Manc Levy bring their three-hander of observations about modern culture.
A heck of a way to end your week here at Whiskey Jar as more of the region’s finest young comics descend for a truly ‘Killer’ lineup. Harry Stachini, Dean Coughlin, Simon Wozniak and Lewis Coleman have all established themselves as the new guard of club comedy in the North West and with good cause. Get down for what’s sure to be a raucous and hilarious night on a Sunday.

Headlining a stacked lineup at Gullivers for Blizzard this week is Cerys Bradley who arrives with a glut of excellent reviews, an award from the Neurodiverse Review and a letter from Nicola Sturgeon. A self-described ‘autistic goofball with a love of puppets’ Cerys comes highly recommended from Welsh comedy legend Kiri Pritchard-Mclean who lauds their ‘beautiful, whimsical mind’.
