Platzki’s immensely popular pierogi festival is returning to the Great Northern Warehouse this May.

Taking place across Wed 14 May – Thu 15 May, visitors will be able to pick from seven variations of handmade pierogi. This year, flavours include Slow-cooked Pork Neck, Beef Heart, Chicken & Vegetable and the comforting ‘Ukrainian Soul’.

For vegetarians, there are the Cabbage & Mushroom and the Spinach & Feta Cheese pierogis, as well as a dessert option, Sweet Vanilla & Silky Curd.

Platzki is also running a competition inviting the public to create their own piergi filling, with the winner getting their own spot on the menu during the festival.

Pierogis will be priced at £2.45 each, with a minimum of three per order. The restaurant will be operating on a walk-in-only basis for the event — the festival regularly draws big crowds, so get down early.

Keep an eye on the Platzki Instagram for updates and more information.
