A new aquapark experience has opened in Blackpool, with activities including everything from wakeboarding and paddleboarding to open-water swimming.
Wild Shore takes over what was formerly the Blackpool Wake Park site at Weeton in Lancashire. The Aqua Park is open to everyone ages Six and over, with customers invited to scale the floating playground’s various slides and hurdles.
The Wakeboarding and Paddleboarding facilities are also open to the public, with lessons available as one-off or package deals.
Open water swimming sessions offer guests a controlled environment to train without worrying about tides or currents. These sessions can also be booked either on a one-off basis or as package bundles, while ‘Ringo Sessions’ allow visitors to climb aboard a floating ring that is then pulled via a cable system.
There is also a play park for younger children, while food and drink is available from Fin’s Cafe Bar.
Callum Mark, Co-Director of Wild Shore, said: “We are delighted to open Wild Shore Blackpool to the public and the effort shown by the whole team to ensure the sight is ready for all to enjoy has been outstanding. The location of the site gives us an amazing opportunity to not only welcome locals but also those visiting the Lancashire area and we look forward to helping them create some unforgettable memories.”
Wild Shore Blackpool is now open. For more information, or to make a booking, visit their website here.
