The biennial Manchester Book Fair takes over the stunning surroundings of Gorton Monastery this weekend.
On Sun 22 Sep, guests can browse a wide variety of secondhand, antiquarian and collectable books and ephemera with more than 40 independent sellers setting up beneath the landmark’s Great Nave.
Should the weather permit, the Monastery’s gardens will also be open for visitors to explore. The cafe will also be open serving light refreshments.
Manchester Book Fair will be open from 10am – 4pm. Entry is just £1 on the door. You can find more information here.
