Jodrell Bank’s Space Dome transforms into a festive cinema this winter

Jodrell Bank has unveiled a packed festive film lineup as it transforms its Space Dome into an immersive Christmas cinema.

Brand new for 2024, the iconic landmark invites the entire family to get into the holiday spirit with 15 exciting screenings of classics like Elf, Home Alone, Love Actually, Die Hard and more.

Running from Sat 7 Dec – Tue 31 Dec, there will be both afternoon (2.30pm) and evening screenings (6pm) taking place. The site will also be beautifully illuminated, adding to the magical festive atmosphere.

The Space Dome cinema is part of Jodrell’s Winter of Wonder programme, which features the new science show Starlight Spectacular, the Astronomy Photographer of the Year exhibition, Christmas craft workshops and more.

Tickets to Jodrell Bank’s winter cinema are on sale now. Afternoon screenings will need a valid annual ticket or return visit ticket. Evening films require no annual tickets as the site will be closed. Book yours using the button below.
