Fancy getting out of the city and love music, but don’t love a six-hour drive to a festival? Cloudspotting could well be the answer: this ‘micro-festival’ takes place this weekend in the beautiful countryside of the Ribble Valley. The site offers riverside camping by the river Ribble alongside the traditional country pub The Aspinall Arms. Musical highlights of the weekend include Jesca Hoop (pictured), The Wave Pictures, Blind Atlas, Jonnie Common and Laura J Martin – plus a whole host of other acts spread across Friday and Saturday. There are also kid’s activities, interactive singing and drumming session, plus award-winning ales and fine local food. See the cloudspotting website below for further details on tickets and the line-up.
