Band on the Wall hosts the ultimate celebration of world music over the coronation weekend, bringing together an eclectic mix of incredible global artists both inside and outside the iconic venue.

Kicking off the festivities on Fri 5 May and celebrating their 35th anniversary, The Orb will be spinning tracks from their seminal Adventures record along with a handful of new releases. Later on that evening, The Elephunk in the Room will have the Bar room moving and shaking.

On Saturday and Sunday, Band on the Wall throws a free outdoor world street party, featuring acoustic music from Bryony Lloyd, Noelle, Paiden, and Abigail Laker, along with DJs GALDEM REJOICE and Andy Shake’N’Fingerpop.

Greek Hip-Hop collective ΒΠ will also take to the Bar stage on Saturday, while Mestizo Collective present their debut album, combining Colombian folk traditions, London jazz, and hip-hop, on the venue stage.

On Sunday, a very special performance sees Dur Dur Band International reunite founding members to perform Somali funk and disco.

Elsewhere, The World of Music learning floor will host events for young people all weekend.
