Now reaching a 15th year, revered inner-city festival Dot To Dot has quickly put its own unique stamp on the festival circuit since a first outing in 2005, and looks to again build on its successful history with an excellent new line up for 2019. Each May bank holiday the award-winning festival hosts an array of diverse talent in eclectic venues across Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham, with a history of hosting impressive names before international popularity. Winner of Best Festival (under 15000 capacity) at the Live UK Awards 2016, previous years have documented a record attendance with sell-out shows in Manchester. Previous names who have graced the festival’s stages include Ed Sheeran, Florence And The Machine, Pulled Apart By Horses, Jake Bugg, Courtney Barnett and Metronomy. English-Spanish trio Crystal Fighters will headline this year’s festival, performing along with hip hop and jazz multi-instrumentalist Jordan Rakei, Birmingham indie five-piece Swim Deep and Liverpool four-piece The Night Café. Attendees can also look forward to performances from hard-hitting trio Dream Wife, local favourites The Orielles, the captivating Lauren Aquilina and Swedish rockers Viagra Boys. Dozens of names have already been unveiled to play across the city, with plenty more to be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets for this musical extravaganza will cost you just £14 for access to over fifty acts and some of the city’s favourite venues
