If the dark, joyless stretch between your Hallowe’en party and the New Year’s night out is getting you down, never fear: November sees NTS Manchester celebrate its 2nd birthday with an eight-hour bash at Salford’s White Hotel. It’s obviously an important anniversary, featuring a grand total of nine acts, culminating in a genre-spinning back-to-back set by experimentalist Jon K and the NTS regular and Soup Kitchen resident Annabel Fraser. Even if your eyelids droop at the thought of a 7am finish, there’s plenty for the early-risers to enjoy before bed, from the acidic techno of Deep Sea Frequency co-founder Breakwave (aka Jessica Beaumont) to the jilting jazz beats of hip-hop producer Tom Boogizm. And, since The White Hotel is not only one of Greater Manchester’s most striking venues but also one of the most hospitable, you’re sure to be in good hands throughout. Early bird tickets are currently available below.

Fri 24 Nov, The White Hotel, Unit 3 Dickinson Street, Manchester M3 7LW, £7/10, 11pm-7am, www.residentadvisor.net
