Head to Band on the Wall this Halloween for a bonanza evening of dancing and partying with eccentric 11-piece supergroup, Baked A La Ska. Recognised as one of the most entertaining live acts around for their kaleidoscopic slant on the big-group ska sound, Baked A La Ska will be playing tracks from their latest — and appropriately named — record, Skalloween, featuring ska takes on spooky classics. Expect a tight rhythm section tearing up the dancefloor, fronted by three outrageous frontmen, Frank “The Skank”, bell-ringing Tommy Robot and harmonica-wielding Kuntri Ranks. “Utterly Bonkers but Irresistible” is how the Manchester Evening News recently labelled these oddballs, and once witnessed live, it’s hard to disagree. DJ Coops joins the fun, selecting classic ska cuts to keep those bones shaking.
