Acclaimed songwriter David Ford stops off at Band on the Wall, fresh from headline shows across the US and Europe. Honing his craft on tours with Elvis Costello and Ray LaMontagne, Ford is known for his poetic lyrics and full-frontal emotional delivery of ballads and torch-song anthems. Making his name with indie rock outfit Easyworld, he has since demonstrated his songwriting prowess on records such as I Sincerely Apologise for All the Trouble I’ve Caused, which was included in numerous end-of-year lists in 2014. Support comes from Abe Partridge, acclaimed for his husky voice and intense performances, whose second record, 2018’s Cotton Fields and Blood for Days, cemented his reputation on the American Folk scene.
