With lockdown forcing us all to stay in doors with nothing but our devices for company, our mental wellbeing was bound to take a hit thanks to endless doom scrolling on social media. Thankfully, Dasha Foster, member of youth enterprise project The Agency, is helping to rectify this timely issue by hosting a free body positivity workshop aimed at young people across Moston and Harpurhey.

Created in partnership with Manchester’s Contact theatre, Embrace Me is a free digital workshop that celebrates individuality and everything that makes you unique. Aimed at 13-16 year olds, each participant will receive a creative pack containing art supplies alongside a QR code that’ll allow them to tune into the virtual workshop.

With an emphasis on self-love and body acceptance, this new initiative is designed to be a force for good during a particularly difficult time. To learn more about this event – or to book your spot on the Embrace Me workshop, simply email their team.
