Following on from 2017’s People, Places & Things, Headlong Theatre returns to HOME this spring with its production of Shakespeare’s Richard III. Starring Tom Mothersdale – described by The Stage as ‘a star in the making’ and by the Guardian as ‘a grim pleasure to watch’ – and directed by John Haidar, the play tells the story of Richard, Duke of Gloucester’s murderous and bloody power play for the crown. Set here in a mirrored dungeon, designed by Chiara Stephenson, it promises to be a suitably moody and dramatic interpretation of the Bard’s classic.
