Fantastic Negrito is to perform his heartful blues at Manchester’s Band on the Wall as part of a 20-date European tour. The Oakland roots guitarist and songwriter delivers compositions from the depths of despair by articulating the sorrows and struggles of America’s downtrodden and deprived. Over a life that has spanned the extremes of a multi-million dollar record deal and four weeks in a coma following a car crash, Fantastic Negrito has relaunched his musical passion through 2016’s Grammy Award-winning debut LP, The Last Days of Oakland, which led to shows on Chris Cornell’s tour and Bernie Sanders’ campaign trail.
