Boogie pianist Henri Herbert brings his band, The Fury, to Manchester’s Gullivers for an intimate showcase of hip shaking blues. The former Jim Jones Revue keys merchant channels an uptempo interpretation of classic rock and roll in the vein of Jerry Lee Lewis and Fats Domino, which has piqued the interest of the likes of Richard Hawley, along with 14 million YouTube viewers and counting. His self-taught style is the type to get even the most reluctant of groovers on their feet, with killer riffs setting co-ordinates straight for the core of Manchester’s musical soul.
