Trad folkies Lynched are set to play at Band on the Wall as part of their wide-reaching UK tour this October. Making their mark on the Dublin scene, the quartet have build a repertoire that refreshes the old formulas by adopting a range of instruments, including uilleann pipes, concertina, accordion, fiddle and guitar. But they also remain true to traditional Irish song, as heard by audiences around the world since the release in 2013 of their Cold Old Fire album. Studio time to record a follow-up is pencilled in after the final stretch of shows, so expect a well-polished performance with a few taster tunes ahead of the record.
