Liverpool electro-pop band Stealing Sheep have joined forces with Manchester’s newest independent cinema, Everyman on St John’s Street, for an album release party with a difference. Together with Design Manchester 2019, they’ve teamed up with expert pixel animator Emily Garner, AKA artist Pastel Castle, to showcase a new series of bespoke music videos inspired by the band’s latest batch of tracks from 2019 album Big Wows. By taking inspiration from a selection of retro games and arcade favourites, Pastel Castle reimagines the band in a variety of formats throughout this video odyssey, with Stealing Sheep popping-up in tamagotchi, cyber fairy, super hero and Zelda-inspired forms. This new video series will make its big screen debut at Everyman Cinema’s brand new St John Street venue on Wed 13 Nov and will be accompanied by a live sing-along session, a Q&A with the band and an afterparty DJ set hosted by Stealing Sheep.
