Following the postponement of their November date due to illness, Stubborn Heart return to Manchester this month for a rescheduled show in support of their self-titled debut album. Made up of Luca Santucci and Ben Fitzgerald, the post-dubstep duo fuse soulful vocals with programmed synths to create a contemporary pop sound, which Time Out has compared to Radiohead’s Amenisiac-era. Already hailed by BBC 6Music and likened to James Blake and SBTRKT, 2013 looks set to see them follow in the steps of their electronic associates. If you haven’t already, check out their sound here and then head down to Trof for an evening of futuristic pop/dupstep blends.
