Contemporary soul and jazz groovers The Milk celebrate a return to wax with a wide-reaching UK tour. With the print still drying on their new record, Favourite Worry, via the excellent Wah Wah 45s label, the engine of the quartet’s van is already revving in anticipation of travels spanning 13 dates from Dundee to Brighton, including a pit stop at Manchester’s Band on the Wall. Their sound nestles snugly between the smooth jazz era Jamie Lidell and the dulcet tones of Stax Records’ soul legends, right in the sweet spot for feet shuffling and hip-swaying.
