A brand new scheme has launched in Greater Manchester which aims to rescue the region’s tourism sector. Created by Marketing Manchester and Manchester Hoteliers Association, Have a Night on Us offers travellers an extra night completely free when they book a two-night stay in a participating hotel.

This new scheme hopes to regenerate the tourism and culture sectors of Greater Manchester after it lost nearly £6 million in value due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with thousands of Mancs losing their jobs. Hotels taking part in the scheme include The Edwardian Manchester, Kimpton Clock Tower, The Lowry Hotel, Hotel Brooklyn, Stock Exchange Hotel, The Ainscow Hotel, Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre and both of the city’s Roomzzz properties – with more hospitality venues due to be announced over the coming weeks.

The purpose of the campaign is to allow tourists to spend a little more time (and money) browsing the city and what it has to offer – be that shopping on our high streets, eating in our fabulous restaurants or simply exploring the natural beauty of Greater Manchester.
