Melody-fuelled indie pop siblings Champs have returned from a hiatus for long-awaited live shows, including Manchester’s Band on the Wall. Based around the Isle of Wight based brothers whose star first rose with 2014 album Down Like Gold, via PIAS, Champs earned a reputation for ethereal harmonies and tightly composed alternative pop songs. Following 2015’s Vamala, the duo have taken time away to travel, but returned with new tunes debuted at a recent London show to herald new beginnings for the band.
