Roots reggae party starters Culture Clash are set to bring another excellent line-up to Band On The Wall this summer for a celebration of UK sound system, taking the audience on a five-hour journey through the history of sound system culture. Following a successful first outing last year, the legendary Sir Coxsone returns to spread the sounds and styles of his native Jamaica. In a career stretching over six decades, the legendary veteran soundman and record producer has achieved an almost-mythical status on UK scene, winning every accolade the reggae world can offer. Joining him to push Band On The Wall’s rig to the limits, fans can look forward to a set from legendary producer Mad Professor, a pioneering name in contemporary dub music. Mad Professor will also be splitting the decks with Swing Ting’s DJ Samrai. Earlybird tickets have now sold out, but £13 advanced tickets are still available.
