American blues legend Lucky Peterson comes to Manchester this summer offering one of his riveting performances at Band On The Wall. In 2019, Peterson will be celebrating his 50th Anniversary of performing professionally, now one of the modern blues era’s leading names. The genre-blending multi-instrumentalist has found fans with his searing lead guitar skills, a rich and powerful organist, and a first-rate vocalist, with his output spanning gospel, rock, jazz and blues. The legendary musician first made a name for himself of TV staples such as the Ed Sullivan Show, the Tonight Show, and What’s My Line, and has since amassed a hugely impressive back catalogue. Accompanied by his band The Organization, the prolific artist visits Swan Street on 20 August with the flame of modern blues burning hot!
