Brought to you by the same good boozy folk who bring you the Indy Man Beer Con every year is a beer festival with that added sprinkle of sunshine in the Summer Beer Thing. Taking place as part of Manchester Beer Week (click here for more info on that) and the second time Indy Man have paired with The Pilcrow and Cloudwater Brew Co for this three day celebration of the best beer the North has to offer. As a sophomore effort it has raised its game a little on the inaugural ‘thing’ of 2017, and will see over 60 beers per session and 200+ and for those that aren’t keen on beer or just fancy something different there will be gin on offer from Manchester Three Rivers distillery as well as great ciders, wine and other spirits. Foodie wise you’ll find the likes of Honest Crust serving delicious pizza, Indian street food from Vaso Kitchen (try the masala fries and then wonder why you’ve been eating them non-masala’d in the past) and burgers from Shoot the Bull. Something for everyone then, proving the best things in life are beer.
