Bars, pubs and restaurants are due to reopen from Saturday 4 July – with many forced to change the way they operate in order to accommodate new social distancing measures. One such venue faced with change is Chorlton’s popular tapas house Bar San Juan which will expand into a former pub in order to meet safety guidelines and welcome new customers. New visitors won’t have to travel far though, as the restaurant will take over the space that was formerly The Parlour, just one door down from their resident Beech Road home. The move comes as many of Manchester’s restaurants and pubs are gearing up to reopen with added table service options. The movie feels necessary for Bar San Juan’s already tiny space – and will allow them to accommodate as many new customers as possible during this critical time in the hospitality industry. The formerly reservation-free restaurant will also be debuting a new booking system – for more information and to enquire about booking a table, head to their website.
