After the success of the previous two, Swing Ting conclude their series of summer events with one of Canada’s finest – Poirier. The Montreal resident has been killing dances for years, and his output has seen him work with the likes of Natalie Storm, Warrior Queen and Burro Banton. Expect heaps of upfront reggae and soca, alongside his own productions and remixes. Complementing Poirier nicely is one of Manchester’s own: Can You Felix – who’s firmly cemented himself as one of the city’s best dancehall (and more) DJs, regularly throwing down at Overproof and always flush with party starters and secret gems alike. Swing Ting residents Samrai and Platt will handle warm-up/warm-down duties and the mighty Fox will be hosting in his inimitable style. It’s £5 on the door all night and you won’t find a better deal for carnival-style shenanigans all month – this should be a fitting end to Swing Ting’s summer sessions.
