Love Party takes over Salford’s brewery/venue First Chop Brewing Arm for a whole day and evening this weekend, raising money for the victims and families of the recent attack in Orlando and local charities. The party with a heart is designed to help good causes through disco, beer, food and dancing. Donations are going to Survivors Manchester and Orlando GLBT Center who are supporting the families and communities of the victims of the recent attacks. Hosted by members of the Hot Space and Drunk at Vogue crews who have worked with MIF and, most recently, Guy Garvie’s Meltdown Festival in London, a quality product is guaranteed. Plus, as well as great music, party people can enjoy food by Mary Ellen MacTague’s Junk Food Project (which makes great food out of the stuff that supermarkets throw away, but which is still fine to eat) as well as beers made on site, at Salford’s leading craft brewery.

Sat 9 Jul, First Chop Brewing Arm, Unit 3, Trinity Row, Trinity Way, Salford M3 5EN, noon – 1am, £10, www.tickets.partyforthepeople.org
