Thu 10 Apr | Endless City ft Danny Drive Thru | Kraak
For the second instalment of Endless City, a new clubnight focusing on the LA-beat scene end of the hiphop spectrum, Manchester legend Danny Drive Thru takes the headline slot. His ‘virtua’ series of rap covers were played worldwide, but DDT has carved out an exciting niche with his original material and his stock is rising again. He is also a hugely entertaining DJ/turntablist – well worth the £3 advance ticket price.

Fri 11 Apr | Chow Down w DJ Q (pictured) & JT the Goon | Joshua Brooks
DJ Q’s album Ineffable has just landed and by all accounts it’s a bit of a smash. Flying the flag for UKG at the moment, he’s one of the most danceable DJs around, with the perfect blend of light and dark and loads of energy. Slew Dem affiliated JT the Goon has reemerged onto the grime scene over the last year or so, with his Twin Warriors EP on Oil Gang dropping in February – he’s now become a key part of grime’s new-wave of producers. Also featuring appearances from Tumble Audio bossman Timbah and the Chow Down residents.
