Clubs of the week ft Egyptian Lover, Glitterbox and Peek A Groove

It’s Bank Holiday weekend so Sunday’s a little more exciting than usual, but there’s plenty more going on the rest of the weekend including the city debut of a US electro pioneer.  Outside of standard clubbing, the city centre celebrates Pride in style and if you’re up for a doorstep festival, Moovin takes over Stockport’s Etherow Country Park with the likes of De La Soul and Goldie headlining.

Huddersfield brewers Magic Rock take over for the weekend: Saturday sees the Sadler’s Yard Summer Jam festival in full swing with live music, food and stalls while Sunday has the Northern Art Carbooty occurring, with a Balearic soundtrack provided by Jeff O’Toole, then me playing jazz, soul, Afro and Latin sounds after 5pm.
