Felicity Ward and Ahir Shah | Tue 24 Jul | The Bread Shed | 7.30pm | £5/3
After a busy few years that has seen Felicity Ward launch a new BBC Radio 4 series Appisodes, a Netflix special Live from the BBC, and regular co-host The Guilty Feminist Podcast, she’s back with a ‘nutful’ of jokes to ‘bust’ in her new show ‘Busting a Nut’. Another great coup for XS Malarkey’s Edinburgh double bills (their penultimate one before the Fringe kicks off in earnest) they have also secured the acerbic social commentary of Ahir Shah.

The Delightful Sausage | Thu 26 Jul | The Eagle Inn | 7.45pm | £4
In what will be their last preview before a second assault on the Edinburgh Fringe, meat peddlers and some time sketch duo The Delightful Sausage bring their sophomore effort Regeneration Game to The Eagle Inn for a final run through. An ambitious and hilarious look at gentrification, local culture and the death of the North with a steady stream of surreal scatological humour to keep you cry laughing to the bitter end.
