Award-winning comedian Mae Martin builds an entirely improvised hour of stand-up from audience suggestions at The Bread Shed next month. Though she still looks quite young, Mae Martin is a veteran of the comedy game having started performing at just 13 years of age. She drew rave reviews for her honest and raw previous show ‘Dope’ which enjoyed sell out month-long runs at the Edinburgh Fringe (where it was nominated for best show) and the Soho Theatre, which lead to two sell out performances at The Bread Shed where Martin will undertake this new experimental show. With no two performances the same this is sure to be one of the most original stand-up show you’ll see this year.

Sat 20 Oct, The Bread Shed, 126 Grosvenor Street, Manchester M1 7HL. Tel: 0161 273 1471. 7.30pm, £11/13, www.seetickets.com
